Starter circuit relay cutoff would be better so a battery drain would not be possible.
I use
https://www.batterybrain.co.uk/product/battery-brain-t3/ as the remote control allows easy isolation/reconnection of the battery. As a full disconnect it also disables the immobiliser and any feed to the ECU.
Having said that the price seems to have rocketed since I bought mine.
