The reason for removal was that I was frustrated with the down pipes continually being clogged with the moss, requiring regular clearing.
George, you maybe already know, but you get plastic inserts that fit the gutter outlet. These prevent downpipe and drain blocking. Still have to continually clean out the gutters though.
