Strombergs.... yuck, compared to Webers. To my eyes even SU`s appear more impressive in an engine bay. I have Strombergs as "original" on my +8 they seem to operate efficiently enough.
That which I liked least about Strombergs was the likelyhood of diaphragm failure, which has happened to me once in circa 18 years of ownership, though fortunately I ever carry spares.
