I think what's happening is that local surgeries and health centres are getting vaccine deliveries based on their patient stats, and the big centres are getting bulk deliveries and are allocating them as they are booked. So a local surgery like mine that has loads of old codgers may not be able to offer vaccinations close to home for us youngsters, but we can get them by travelling to a big centre like Malvern.
Either way, 10 miles to Gloucester for my first and 25 miles to Malvern for my second is no problem at all for me. There are loads of people out there who don't find it as easy to travel as me so I'm quite happy for them to have the local vaccinations and leave me to to go a bit further for my doses.
