In my unruly youth when scuffling with The Establishment outside the American Embassy in Grovesnor Square to register my disapproval of the Vietnam thing .... the word was that Lion Poo was just the thing for keeping the Police Horses at bay without harm (to either of us .... I can confirm they are a seriously unsettling thing to be on the receiving end of in a ruck!! .... the impression they made has resulted in a lifelong love and respect for horses that still has me riding and owning them when that particular 'cause' is now ancient history!🙂)
