My car is an October 2013 supplied before the 2014 model year upgrades. have just under 35,000 miles and am on the original chassis. The car has done several track days and is driven hard when conditions allow. It's done 5 trips from the UK to Switzerland and back plus numerous tours.
The upgrade to the Centa was done in July 2015 at 4,600 miles
Bevel box replaced in Nov 2015 at 7,560 miles due to very slight oil leak
The wishbone upright was welded by MMC in July 2018 at 22,100 miles. It wasn't certain there were cracks but done as a precaution.
In Oct 2019 at 30,600 miles I had the clutch plate replaced due to what turned out to be a broken pressure plate spring. As the engine was out I had the Centa rollers replaced but the old ones, with 26,000 miles, were virtually as new and could well have been reused.
I don't believe the chassis longitudinal top tube cracking is related to driving style. What is important is to keep the engine revs up and not lug the motor.
There have been other replacements over the years but the pleasure definitely outweighs the pain.
