I bought a new (old style) badge when I rebuilt the Plus 8. It arrived "flat" and had to be bent to match the curve of the cowl. If it bends ok in that direction, then I don't see why a curvy one couldn't be flattened. Maybe a gentle squeeze in a vice between two bits of softwood?
