There has been an update on MOT requirements on LED headlamp conversions see this thread in Maintenance & Servicing
http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/694863/1 Basically you cannot use LED headlamp bulbs in a post April 1968 car. If you want LED headlamps you need to replace the whole unit, reflector & lens not just bulb.
