I'd been looking at getting a toy and couldn't make up my mind whether to get a Hot Rod (family discount was a big factor, although not that much of a discount it has to be said dear Brother
) and I was quite taken with Triking but neither really grabbed me.
I read various press articles about the all new and improved Morgan 3 Wheeler ("improved"
). Had a Google and found I was between two dealers BHM and Rutters, Dartford crossing too much of a pain so I called Uncle M and arranged a test drive. In general unless extremely lucky an Uncle M test drive is approximately a 3 mile round trip but that was all I needed and I was hooked. Took delivery sometime 2013, can't actually recall the month. Then spent the next year going round the bend with the little "Bitch" (car was renamed to this and gearknob was adorned). Car spent more time off the road than on and was part ex'd in July 2014 for a four wheeled Morgan.
Do I regret giving up so soon, yes. So although I am stretching myself, I am awaiting delivery of a new Morgan P101. I have ordered various spare parts (Thanks to the fantastic Alternative parts list) and I am totally convicted to keeping this "Bitch Mk2" on the road (Gearknob is waiting!) Hopefully my fellow 3 Wheelers can forgive my weakness, I was young ger, impatient and foolish. Now I'm older, unfortunately the rest is the same...
