Fine place! .... have friends still live there .... lots of good stories about Pennan .... been to some great Ceilidhs and parties in the Hall there ..... watched 'Local Hero' and Casablanca double-bill in the village hall years back .... put on by the village .... local ladies dressed as '50s usherettes and brought round icecreams on trays during the interval ... was odd when it finished and you walked out onto the 'set'.
The old Mobile Library had to reverse back up that twisty, steep lane as it couldn't get up forwards due to fuel starvation .... reverse kept the tank above the engine 🙂
Not many live there full time now ☹
