Wow,,that is pretty specific mpg, how were you able to verify the miles accuracy...I presume you used some form of GPS digital recorder rather than rely on the speedo/trip which can be quite inaccurate?

I've always resisted calculating the specific mpg for cars/motorbikes I own as long as I have a relatively accurate fuel gauge and I can roughly estimate how many miles are left before filling up .I kind of realized after one very busy with traffic motorway trip in my 911 turbo, entertaining myself with just 2nd and 3rd gear overtaking all the way I had nearly emptied the tank in under 100 miles achieving under 6mpg................it was fun but slightly depressing outcome, I decided it was probably better not to know the mpg and just focus on likely range left in tank
