Varies automatically depending on speed, and you can also set the amount of assitance manually, or turn it off. Three of my friends have it, very happy. I have tried one of their cars. Of course wonderful at low speeds, good for parking etc. But I do not do that much tight parking, as I my car is not a daily driver and I never park it downtown. It is mostly in and out of my garage and a pit stop or three when touring. At higher speeds I did not notice much difference, but I might if spririted driving on twisty roads. Aprox. the equivalent of 2000 £ here in Norway. So it is quite down on the list, well after new shocks, possibly KP change etc.
