Not realistic. The high price comes about from making things in tiny volumes and not product quality. Nothing that is hand made will ever match the quality of mass manufactured products. You are paying for rarity.

In any event, its made here in the UK so you cant expect German quality standards!

Not realistic. Probably not. But also, as Jens infers, not likely to be acceptable to many of MMC's target new customers. The sort of issue that has plagued Lotus et al for years.

A very considerable measure of Morgan's success will be not how much they go wrong, but how well - (and how seamlessly for the end user) they put things right.

Doesnt suit my argument but the Lotus comment isnt correct. The days when it was Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious are long gone helped by Toyota mechanicals and manufacturing much the same car for 20 years. My Elise was the most reliable car I have ever had and that includes the family Mrecs , Volvos etc. Maybe part of the reason was assembly on a proper assembly line unlike Morgan. The Lotus rep is a bit like "Triumph motorcycles always leak oil." because they did so in the 50s.
