I could easily join in this thread as I found myself nodding in agreement as I read through the list of complaints, however, I have had the good fortune to have had older acquaintances than I who seem to have a different mindset. I may have mentioned one who took to building steam engines to power his circa 25' foot boat, not only that but created a circular boiler for it too, he bent the tubes round a Ford Transit wheel mounted firmly to the deck in his back garden... Another in his mid to late 70`s who keeps his Nicholson ketch in tip top order, other than by cheque book.. and yet another who bought a LARGE wooden hull fishing boat and is setting about converting it to suit his ideals .... While it seems I like you make excuses for doing less and less with the passage of time, there are those out there who are just determined to keep on keeping on ...Power to their elbow..
