i experienced failures of the flange gaskets (manifold-cat) regularly.

Until i changed from MMC items to more up-to-the-job (reinforced) gaskets. All ok since then (fingers crossed)

It doesn´t matter how fast it becomes, but how it becomes fast. laugh2
