I can take credit for the idea for the windowframe and and design work but I had a local custom car builder make the parts for me.....that was way beyond my skill level!
It is so great to work with skilled guys like that and also to find someone with the patience to work on a Morgan...ha ha ha. When you manufacture parts like these you really find out how big difference there are between left and right side on a Morgan.
JohnV6 The original windscreen looks like before I only removed the bolt on the frame that has a nut on the inside of the dashboard which made it a pain to remove. So I only have two screws from the outside now and it is solid enough like that. I did change the pressed aluminum thread (don't know the English word) on the car to a more heavy duty one. I think this kit should be commercialized but going through this process I wonder if that is possible on a Morgan? There were so big differences between the left and right side so I think it need to be done at a workshop so that it truly is as "handbuilt" as the rest of the car.
