Having recently driven 4/4, +4 and Roadster all on the same day I didn't take long to come to the conclusion that 6 cylinders ticked the most boxes and the wider track was never an issue

But what do you do if you want more power than a Plus 4 and don't want to pay the higher tax and insurance charges of a 3.7 litre? Now that the 3 litre V6 is out of production morgan really lacks something between the current 2 litre 4 and the de-tuned Mustang 3.7 litre.

Don' say the Plus 4 SS because that is not available LHD and in any case the run is just about finished.


in the UK 3 litre Roadster only costs approx £125 more in road tax (from 2nd yr of registration) than 4/4 Sport and my insurance went up by only £45
