I must admit that when I was still working, a posh watch seemed very important.
I sported a Rolex GMT Master, which I still own and has recently been serviced by Rolex.

I also bought a lovely, wafer thin, gold, Longines dress watch, for evening wear.
Daily wear nowadays is either a battered Tag Formula 1, a large blue faced Tissot (very easy to read), or a battered Casio G Shock.
I really admire the craftsmanship of many top makes, but nowadays I’m just not fussed about owning any.
However I do pay particular attention to not wearing anything in the 4/4, that might accidentally damage the leather.
