as the car is sagging on his springs too i think it's not worth the work involved to change that spring in direction....so i asked price at our Morgan dealer for 2 new springs and option install at the shop. I could do it myself.... but perhaps they have the "routine/special tools " and can do it for a fair price.
It is a fairly straight forward job, and easily done by a competant home mechanic. Does takes a failry long time, which may influence the price from the Morgn dealer. Parts cost me about £350 for the springs, about £60 for new U bolts, and £30 for new bolts and spacers.
