I found a very apt and contextual passage.
'For many years the practice of human sacrifice and cannibalism among the Aztecs was denied by many, and their brutality towards prisoners presented as a reflection of the equally brutal treatment they received at the hands of the Spanish conquerors.'
How does one differentiate between one nations cruelty against another nations cruelty? And how do you align the common history from each nations prospective and potential sense of injustice.
