TBM, my education is not sadly lacking, but I see that you are quick to denigrate others that don't share your what some may consider a narrow view. There have been a few snide remarks like 'audience' which I did not respond to at first but others felt the same and did respond. I get the sense you feel somehow to have the moral high ground on this issue, almost a sense that some of us are prejudiced, possibly xenophobic when we point out what many others also see as the obvious. I cant help being white and I will not be made to apologise for being so, but all of my life I have tried to interact with the others and not be influenced by their creed, colour, sex or sexual orientation.
I'm not interested in the conventions that narrow what is considered 'history' and I seriously question what approved version of history is currently being taught in schools or more importantly than the subject matter but the way it is being taught and what emphasis or balance exists.
