Good news about now running.
Years ago I had a starting problem on a Ford cvh car. It was the leads. They were originals and appeared ok with spark. I checked everything and tried new leads. Ran perfectly. My guess was deteriorated leads ( age) and a weak spark. The new leads was the last in the sequence so appeared to have been the culprit.
My firstMog was a ‘93 4/4 with a cvh efi engine. Developed a misfire. Cause was a faulty pump, (possibly muck got in) I replaced it and at the same time flushed the tank ( some crud came out indicating pump blickage so fitted an extra filter before the pump, new flexi pipes, blew solid pipes clean, new main filter. My reasoning was that the fuel system simply aged and the refurb cured it.
At some point many systems on a Morgan might benefit from overhaul due to age issues, low mileage lack of use etc..
