Sorry if this sounds insulting but you are timing it to the right stroke on the right cylinder (ie not #4 instead of#1) ?..... just that if you have spark, fuel and the valves are opening and closing and the pistons going up and down then timing must be a serious suspect.
I know mine wouldn't do anything at all once and I found I'd got clockwise and anticlockwise crossed in my head and put the plug leads back in the dizzy cap the wrong way round ... absolutely zip! .... took an hour to twig .... oh how I laughed! 😉
