I'd stick with the +8 you have and spend a bit of your spare cash refurbing and adding some of those items that you covet in those younger cars.
Yep. If you love the car, why get rid of it? A lick of paint, some new leather, a bit of tuning and you're good to go.
The great thing about older cars is that you don't have to worry about restrictive emissions, and you can fix them yourself. Buying something else and you really don't know how it's going to turn out.
