Bob...back in the good old days (I wonder if cars came out of the factory then with faults.) the style of driving was with the wheel in your chest and arms bent to give leverage to unassisted steering! It took me a while to get use to the idea and now I find it very comfortable. My seat is set so my left leg is almost straight with the clutch pedal fully depressed. The head "rests" are really head restraints... You'd have to sit at a very strange angle to rest your head against them!
My 4/4 generally runs at just over 3 bar when hot but I don't put a lot of faith in the pressure gauge or the temperature gauge. The needle on the latter barely moves from the bottom of the scale. The fuel gauge on mine is however pretty accurate.
It is a shame that your first experience of Morgan should be sullied by the faults you've had....all the cars are test driven by the factory and such faults should be picked up but your dealer really should hang his his head in shame! At least they are now sorted and you can enjoy the car!!
As Ivanford has said, these are expensive cars...his certainly is...and they should not be leaving the factory with faults. I just hope his M3W is fully sorted by the time it's delivered......it's got a way to go yet by the sound of the problems some of the dealer cars are having.
