I should have bought my original '66 IIa back when it came on the market soon after buying my first Morgan. However it had been rebodied with a SIII body and was prone to a slipping clutch (could have been down to a number of things, but frequently an expensive repair on the labour front). It wasn't really MY LR any more, so I passed it by. Could have been had for the princely sum of around £700 16 years ago... I should have done it smile
