The idle is certainly linked to the wheel speed sensor.
I wonder why? Certainly odd to me.
Idle issues with the road speed sensor are normally associated with stalling when the vehicle is coming to a stop. The road speed sensor tells the ECU that the vehicle is slowing with the ECU adjusting the revs, fuel flow accordingly, if the ECU does not receive the proper signal then there is a lag in adjustment when coming to a halt thus causing the stall. The most common issue with the road speed sensor is a poor earth connection which can cause intermittent signal.
