I also noticed the rust on Steves excellent photos, and put it down to it being a pre-production car, but looking at those pictures above, it is more than a little worrying. I cannot see a car lasting out even one winters light use without looking very scruffy indeed if that is how it looks after only a few weeks on the road, salt spray or not.

Does anyone know whether the chassis is painted or powder coated? I would think powder coating may be the best as it will form a skin over all the little welding holes, which paint may not get into.

I suppose that it would not be a bad idea to treat the front of the chassis from new with something like 'Waxoyl', but that should be down to the dealer or factory and at their expense in my opinion.

Steve, you mentioned some other areas on the Superdry car that were cause for concern, would you care to elaborate?
