I wouldn't mind so much if the service was peerless. It isn't. Things go missing. We regularly get mail addressed to a place fifteen miles away, which only bears a passing similarity to our address.
Delivery is patchy. More bin filling spam than mail. Postpeople no longer what they were.
Local Post Office just not trustworthy. Four weeks to deliver a 48 hour signed for parcel.
I remember two deliveries a day. I remember the Post Office renting coaches at Christmas and seeing coaches stacked with parcels doing the rounds.
Now, even first & second class is a joke. And don't get me started on Parcelforce. What a shower.
