Surely that is a little harsh Jens. The trad suspension and chassis technology were long outdated and were overdue for an update. Let's face it the trad technology dates back to before the war, and I mean the First World War!

When I bought my car in 2012 I really expected something a bit better but at that time was fairly ignorant of the limitations of the system.
There will always be those who think that some past model was the last of the true Morgans but, IMHO, if it was made (assembled) in the Morgan factory, or some other authorised workshop, it is a Morgan. Surely it is the Morgan style and experience that really counts.

For me, I do think that the latest models have exaggerated in the power to weight area. Given that maximum torque is developed at fairly low RPM, and that maximum power of any of the CX models is unusable on a public highway, even the engine used in the PlusFour is too powerful let alone the PlusSix.
In any case the price has now gone up to the point where I would not consider any of the CX models and I will stay with my tweaked Plus 4 much as I would love the have the CX chassis and suspension, perhaps with a naturally aspirated 200hp engine smile .
