Hello everyone. Just before Christmas I took delivery of a MY 17 M3W from Krazy Horse. I'm based in North Wales and have placed the car on SORN until the weather improves ( that's right, I haven't even driven it yet!) so in the meantime I'm planning on carrying out some modifications to personalise the car. I'm not long retired from nursing and have been a motorcyclist for a number of years.

I've already pretty much read every thread in the M3W section and have found all the information enlightening and interesting. One thing though, a lot of the links which people have posted directing you to available parts have now expired which brings me on to some questions.

1. Is it still possible to get an S&S air filter adaptor to enable fitment of different air filter covers in the UK?
2. I'm considering installing stage 1 pipes - is this considered an essential modification to dissipate heat?
3. I have the heritage screen fitted and can see two gaps in the screen at the bottom of the centre alloy stem - what is their function?
4. Should I leave the quick release steering wheel retaining bolt in place which removes the quick release function?
5. Can the front wheels be removed without removing the mudguards?
6. Where can I get longer seatbelt stems?
