I did not want to critisize someone or the work!
Many years ago I prepared my bike for a longer trip through norway.
I glued a remote control for my walkman with cable (30x60mm/complete weight about 100gr.) On a fitting 4mm aluminium plate.
This was fitted to the handlebar of my CX500. At the second day the plate fell of!
That is an experience I'll never forget.....
