This has all the symptoms of vehicles being ‘stuffed’ into dealers, by the factory and without them being ordered.
I can just imagine the message from the factory.
They will be on a stocking plan, (where the dealer has to pay interest) and then become fully payable after 180 days in stock.
So, a Plus Four, a Plus Six and a Super Three will total £200k +
It keeps the factory going at the expense of the dealer network.
It inevitably leads to distress selling by the dealers.
Peter Morgan would probably be turning in his grave.
