Lane hogging is now an offence ie careless driving, fixed penalty £100 plus 3 points.
Maybe so, but it doesn't seem to be enforced in my experience.
Ditto, how would the offender be 'pulled' on a motorway, you can't make 'em pull over on the hard shoulder for a ticket ?
Saw it done a few years ago. Driving along the M27 there was a car in lane 2 cruising at 45 - 50mph. A Police car passed me, pulled across in front of the slow car and put up 'Follow me' in the rear window. I didn't see what happened after that as they left the M27 at the next intersection.
