They are a superb solution to Everflex hood fitting, unless the hood is warm and therefore a bit flexible. One helpful tip I have seen is keeping the hood warm before fitting. Easy at home but a hot water bottle has been suggested for travel. Never tried it. I have the swivel pivots ( 2 seater car).
If I think I might need the hood on a run/trip I fit the rear and fold the front part to cover the rear shelf area like a mini tonneau cover. It acts as a sort of easy up hood and saves time fitting. I use the clear windows as guides to fold the material.
I also have an Everflex tonneau cover that is tight to fit unless warm.
Another tip is to help remove the head restraints. I use car wax on the stems. That makes them slide easier. No more flying head restraints or danger of hitting my face if they are tight and need force to slide them out!
