If you're going for new, try the 4/4 anniversary with the 2 Litre. I'm looking forward to trying that out when I get the chance because I think it will provide a good balance of power with handling - and looks!!
Otherwise try them all. Insurance doesn't seem to vary much with trads, so it's matching what you want to the right mix of engines and 'width'.
Be mindful that steering effort depends on whether each car has damper blades or bearings, and factory dampers will not feel like aftermarket adjustables, so two otherwise identical cars can feel very different. Which is your local dealer?
Ironic that I'm seriously toying with having a Lotus Elise!!!
