Well here we are! something that should be so simple but isn't! It's a bit like sharpening drills! Looks so easy when you watch someone do it but unless you're shown the tricks its impossible!
Firstly the wanner grease gun is absolute quality and I have a couple, one with a flexy coupling. for the pillars it's a flexible coupling you will need and if of the non locking variety you really do have to push and hold it in place on the nipple as you pull the trigger. It really has to be square and held in place accurately. Eventually you will feel when all is working correctly! check the blind side of the hub and pillar too as sods law says the excess grease will be pilling out there! Locking connectors are good and will probably help someone who struggles but some can be a little long and cheap ones don't last long either as they will have plastic not metal jaws! Better to learn the skill! I so nearly fitted the remote kit but then realised I'd have to whip the wheels off to clean up after so I didn't bother!
A good tip from Nick W is just to make sure the ball in the nipple is not stuck with either old grease of by way of damage, I find just a gentle touch with an electrical srewdriver shows patency!
