Larger wheels off set by skinnier rubber bands for the same overall diameter ?
Hi Alistair, Surprised to see both the 18” and 19” wheels are near enough the same OD, as you suggest the tyre side wall height varies.
It is so the gearing remains constant, otherwise the calibration of the Speedo would need to be adjusted for 18" or 19" wheels, my Boxster allowed me to input wheel / tyre size combinations and the computer did the rest, unfortunately not available on Morgan's.
