I don't think we are being told about all the dangers regarding the flammability of EV batteries. Some Norwegian ferries have now banned EV and hydrogen cars on their ferries. This ship off the Dutch island of Ameland had 3000 ICE cars and 25 EVs on board. Can't imagine if there are 3000 EVs in the future. A normally equipped German fire brigade is powerless against a battery fire. In order to enable faster and faster charging times, EV batteries are becoming increasingly low resistance. This increases the risk of fire. It is unthinkable if more EVs than ICEs will be parked in all underground garages in the future...and what if such an EV burns in the Gotthard tunnel.
