Lastly what spark plugs as its now 8 years old I thought it best to give it a full service and change the gearbox and diff oils at tbe same time. I'm assuming a general purpose automotive grease is ok for all the grease nipes. Many thanks in advance

Very interesting thread this as, after having my 2015 GDi serviced by the excellent Techniques in Stotfold, for the last seven years, I'm now going to be doing my own servicing, which is a bit daunting as I haven't dabbled seriously with anything mechanical for many years (although my recent purchase of the Royal Enfield has definitely piqued my interest again). Fortunately I have a great bunch of Morgan owners nearby who have a vast amount of experience of looking after Morgans that I can hopefully draw on, as well as TM etc. Good luck.
