Hi Shakey2, I would in most part agree with the comments Simon has made.. For every CX car with issues there will be others with none or small easy fixs.. We have seen a lot of problems with ours, but we have kept the faith ( hard though that has been at times ) and still have the car, as we like it and believe we are getting near the end of the tunnel with its issues.

There is no doubt that Morgans have bundles of character...you will struggle to find that with the majority of current production cars.

I would say shop carefully for a Plus Four using the brain and not the heart. Look at cars advertised through the owners club or on TM that have a known life and maintenance history. Alternatively, go to a respected Morgan dealer who would cover the car they are selling.
If you do want to purchase privately there are aftermarket companies available online that offer warranties, its just a case of doing the home work and chosing the provider carefully. ( I think Simons suggestion of a pre inspection via a Morgan dealer is a good idea ) ..
If you do go for a Plus Four that comes with a warranty make sure you use it a lot while its still covered, that way if you do initially experience a problem to sort its not to your account..
