Not enough charging infrastructure, insurance companies running away, what next?
I'm so very glad I got out of EV ownership when I did, before the full horror of EV ownership was exposed!

Don't get me wrong, for a local runabout, charged at home, they can be wonderful, the Electric Mini is a hoot, as long as you do less than 100 miles a day and most people do.
But as a motorway mile muncher you have to be brave....and able to plan and manage life.
And finally, for "off the beaten track" touring they are quite useless....unless you are in Wales, driving at 20mph on the flat when the range is massive, a Tesla Model 3 at that speed will do about 400 miles between charges, it is claimed.
