Hello,
both lower speedo cables are not correct. Even the old lower cable is wrong, but nevertheless sold many years from Morgan as well.
The lower part of the lower cable needs a kind of recess to be centrated on the transmission. There has to be a small outside recess which cares about centrating
of the cable on the speedo drive gear. When there is no recess the needle of the speedo can flicker, as you have it.
Since around half a year or a year Morgan delivers correct lower speedo cables now.
Unfortuantely I don`t know how I could post pictures here, for to point how the lower cable has to look.
