Sad indeed for such an old well established company although maybe understandable. I used them on several occasions over many decades recalibrating a chronometric speedo, adjusting and providing a new scale for an old rotating magnet tachometer and building a custom gearbox for the cable drive to match. I guess such tasks will be left to one man band businesses in the future, working from home although how long even for them 🤔
Maybe the greater loss will be the accumulated knowledge.
