Had problems with my sons go kart at the weekend, it hadn't been run for about 4-5 months, drained the petrol out of it and it was a yucky yellow colour. refilled with fresh petrol and away it went.
Got me thinking about our Plus 8, it's been parked for about 3 months now with the same fuel in it, and with winter approaching, unless I get time in the next few weeks to take it out then it could easily sit all winter with whatever it's got in the tank in it.
Does anyone ever get stale fuel problems?
Does anyone ever go to the extent of draining the fuel and then re fill with fresh fuel when you intend to use it again?
I'm guessing its a problem that's getting worse because of the changes in the blend/ingredients of our petrol in the UK
