The design with the exception of the Morgan style radiator is not unpleasing on the eye, and I'm sure will carry a limited edition price tag, which hopefully will generate considerable added value over the mainstream products and bring some much needed additional financial resources to support the company's long term survival. Very necessary revenues. As with other low volume producers like Caterham we have seen prices rise, as they try to recoup the increasing investment necessary to be compliant in a very ever demanding and changing legislative and environmental consideration environment. I just can't see how Morgan would survive going forward with finite manufacturing capacity to produce a 'cheap car' and still recover its imbedded costs and the necessary development programme. We are no longer in the manufacturing world of pre Euro 1 type of regulations, when even then Morgan had to withdrawal from certain markets like the USA because it couldn't meet their regulations

I don't quite understand some of the commentary, Morgan's history is littered with examples of unusual vehicles being produced, some as design studies. others made production in non traditional materials for Morgan with closed top designs, almost the exact opposite of open topped motoring associated with Morgan. Maybe Morgan throughout its history realised, it needed more than the trad/CX model, its traditional base range to survive.

My only hope is that they produce cars that they will support through available spares supplies to ensure long term ownership enjoyment.
