I had exactly the same corrosion on number one plug about three years ago. It took a lot of removing.
As a direct consequence an aluminium engine cover was fabricated and the issue of water getting past the coil pack was cured.
My replacement plugs are Bosch Double Iridium R6 ref HR7N11332W
