Evening Jon and Lorne.. Rgr on the volt check, however the CX design has the wiper motor buried deep behind the dash, which all has to come out to gain access to it.. Its not easy to access to the motor and linkage as with a Trad.

However, I can say that one of the cars warranty issues was electrical strangeness. The fix undertaken by the dealer with considerable factory support ( the fix took some time! ) was to remake all the earths on the car, this did solve the issues and ( fingers crossed) there has been no more repeat electrical stangeness, it all seems to work very well since.. Also consider that the factory themselves have had the car twice to sort the wiper issue and I was told by the dealer that the total system had been replaced...although finding that at least one of the wiper "boxs" was an original has not filled me with a lot of confidence in the dealer statement. Lastly, also consider the judder was way worse with the original MMC wiper blades..
