Astonandy, Pandy: You are absolutely right!

If you like a car or not (for asthetical reasons), it´s a very personal/subjective thing.

And OK, MORGAN´s are interesting cars, rather nice looking, always been something special.

I choose my (mostly classic) cars more or less only by asthetical aspects.
So the "usual" MORGAN is OK (...) for me but not absolutely hot...

Why?
There were always some (little but important) details disturbing me.
A very personal thing, of course, sorry guys, but:
redcard
- marker lights on the front wings = too kittenish
- spare wheel = ruins the pure look of the back (sorry
again, I know, a lot of you like the spare wheel)
- tyres with a too flat sidewall = too modern, not in
harmony with the classic body design
- too large body dimensions of the +8, Roadster and even
the +4 (the famous (too large) distance between the
headlights and the wings => frogeye-effect)
- leather belt on the bonnet = pseudo-classic feature
- etc...

surrender

BUT with the launch of the 4/4 Sport nearly everything was perfect - love at first sight: love
- Narrow body = what a harmony!
- No spare wheel = PERFECT tail-look
- No bumpers (who really needs them?)
- Black painted wire wheels with "balloon" tyres
- Reduced chrome decoration
- Less is more!

Simply a perfect, timeless, "voluptuous" toy! notworthy

The result for me was a complete regroupment of my "car pool". I sold three cars (Sunbeam Alpine Series II, Triumph TR6, Citroen 2CV) in nearly perfect condition to get the budget for a 4/4 Sport (and the nearly endless list of optical and technical improvements). stars

Since august 2011 I´m the happy owner of my all black beauty. Never would want another one. love

Very happy that MMC launched that model. toff

That´s my statement and declaration of love to the unique MORGAN 4/4 Sport.

Thank you, Mister Morgan. uk

Kind regards,

George
