When I was trying to fit slightly wider tyres to my old 4/4 with stainless wire wheels, I was concerned about the tyre rubbing on the top bracket and not wanting to buy new wheels I spoke to MWS and they said they can sometimes adjust the spoke settings to gain a few mm and move the offset slightly.

It all depends on how the spokes are currently set up but it might be worth having a word with MWS to see f they could tweak the offset for you.

I guess it's possible that other wire wheel specialists might be able to do this as well.

In the end I sold the car so I don't have any hard evidence that this will work but maybe worth a shot if you're only looking for a few mm.
